Lovely little library with a nice view overlooking the bay. A little bit of something for everyone of course. Publicly available computers with internet, copy machine and staffed with kind and helpful folks. Lots of public events posted as well as what looks like a book club and staff picks updated frequently. Great resource for the community. You can also use the online tool to request books from the snow isle network and you can pick them up at this location. They will notify you when it gets there. So cool.

WOW... I am overwhelmed by the unknown recourses and services that, with my tiny little library card that I have had for many many years... Is available to me. I went inside today and had the amazing pleasure of talking with Marie... she is a GEM 👑 and I truly appreciate the help and encouragement she gave me today. She showed me how to find the information on the Sno-Isle library. I hope they know what a GREAT asset Marie is... THANK YOU THANK YOU... ❣️ see you soon.

The oak harbor library is completely rude and nasty since the covid. They have lost their minds at this branch. I can't wrap my head around the bizarre behavior and wild eyed insanity that I have seen.

This is a better library than you would expect in a town of 20,000. It is a little small and is always busy. Often all computers are in use. However if you consider the size of Oak Harbor it is pretty amazing to be able to leverage the power of Snohomish County to get access to way more books than you would expect. There is free printing, computers can be reserved, there are kids programs and activities, the staff is helpful, and they rotate things on display always keeping it interesting. If the size of the space was more commiserate to the use numbers it would be a five star library.

Questions & Answers

Does the library accept donations? I have sets of National Geographic magazines that I would much rather find a home for than throw into the recycling bin.
