I gave one star only because I had to, in order to leave a review. We applied for an apartment with credit that is not good but our finances met the criteria. We dealt with Bree and we asked if credit would be a factor but he said that it would not be, as long as we can afford the apartment. We waited for 7 days for a response and we were denied. We asked Bree, if we were denied, if we would be able to get our money refunded back to our card and he replied yes. Well after we were denied we were told that our money would be returned in a check within 30 days. We don’t have a problem with getting denied because we will eventually get something better and I believe that what is not for us then we will not get. What we do have a problem with is the lies that these big companies tell to get your money. Now, my wife confronted Bree about the lies that he told us and he denied all. This is not the way a reputable company is supposed to do business and definitely should not have anyone that represents your company that tells such lies to get $100 each ($200) application fee plus another $600 for a holding fee. I had a problem when we first walked in because I don't feel comfortable doing business with someone who's life is based on deceit but I dealt with him any way. So I will practice on paying attention to my first instinct in the future.
