Good location for supermarkets, beaches, bars, restaurants, cinema & bowling alley. Hotel has has a make over since I last visited here. Main bedroom is done to a nice standard though the bathroom not the same. Staff were very good. Breakfast not the best. Scrambled eggs had a rubbery texture & the bacon was dreadful. Not certain it was bacon. Midweek prices were a little high. Weekend prices ridiculous. We moved to a hotel in Ellenton area for the Friday night.

Rooms smell like wet dog. Tried 2 different rooms & both smelled like they had been wet and not dried out. Exterior of building had peeling, blistered and rust stained exterior. Hall exterior doors did not work for Entry with a room card. Not up to standards previously experienced at this Holiday Inn or others. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I stayed at this hotel for over a month in Feb/March/April 2022. Fantastic staff. Front desk staff was top notch, always willing to assist and improve things. Same with the maintenance crew and the Breakfast crew. All of these folks provided my business trip with a fantastic hotel experience. Hotel was clean do to an always busy housekeeping staff. I will definitely stay there again if i am ever in the area.

It was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a problem with the a/c unit and we were given a new room right away. The complimentary breakfast was filling and hot. They do need to replace the ice machine. It makes ice however it is a little rusty. While this is not affecting the ice in anyway, do not wait until it becomes.one. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
