Came by for dinner on a Friday evening, sat at the bar. I had a lime ginger beer and fish and chips. The mocktail was tasty, fish and chips were unexpectedly good; perfectly fried fish which was not over cooked. Fries were better than average. Prices are above average but I think worth the price for what you can find in the area. Will definitely be back when I'm in Port Angeles.

Fun, local place with good beer selection, friendly service, and delicious food. Husband really enjoyed his tacos. Fry portions are huge but so good. I had the chicken apple salad, which was really delicious. I did wish they listed on their menu that the walnuts in it have cayenne on them for those of us who don't like/can't have spicy or nightshades. Really impressed with their menu selection, we will return to try something new next time!

Took a VERY long time after we gave our orders for the food to come. It wasn’t busy on a Monday at 11:30 am, and I understand wait staff have no control over the kitchen, just would like updates or an idea of how long. Food was ok. My burger came with fig jam which tasted amazing but wasn’t really spread out so it fell out in huge cold lumps. My friends also said their food was just ok. I have heard there are some amazing entrees so I will be trying again.

Wow! If you are looking for a fun place to eat in downtown Port Angeles then look no further than Next Door Gastropub! My wife and I were in town for our five year anniversary. The front desk staff at our hotel made a point to tell us that this is the best place in town. They didn’t disappoint! I had the Ron Burgundy hamburger. It’s topped with these amazing scotch and burgundy wine mushrooms. Fantastic and I would love to know what is in them. My wife also loved her crab Mac and Cheese. Nice flavor profile without being pure grease or dried out. One warning. The wait can be long. We had to wait about an hour. So be prepared if you didn’t call ahead. Well worth the wait!
