We had a wonderful experience at the Shephard's beach resort . Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you Toni she helped me a lot with the check-in she was so nice and I hope to see you soon! The room was so clean, the beach and the pool was super fun and beautiful. Thank you once again! Will recommend to my friends! Sunset ❤️

Loved this place! The rooms are nice, large, clean, and recently updated. The pool is great with plenty of space and seating, plus it is surrounded by 3 bars - bonus! Food and drinks at the bars & restaurants are priced right. They have an awesome beach front stage that plays live music from 3pm to 12am Sun - Thurs. Music goes until 2am on Fri & Sat. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The private beach is small, but beautiful, private and not crowded. They promote and partner with a car service called Free Rides USA where the drivers work for tips - we found this to be super awesome and helpful to get around town quickly and affordable!! 5 stars all the way around!

Only big complaint is lack of housekeeping. Requested "full service" cleaning 3 days in a row to only be given another pile of towels. Outside amenities are clean, and staff is great. Good location. Yeah it's loud with the band till 12, but it's not unbearable. Kid friendly till the sun goes down. Would stay again. Just expect my room to be completely cleaned every day paying resort prices.

This hotel looks older from the outside but the interior was updated and the rooms were clean. Amenities: There are a couple restaurants on-site, a small convenient store where you could pick-up little things you may need or have forgotten, snacks, beverages & they also offer great coffee and espresso drinks. A long with a tequila bar, there are also 3 other bars. Free, nightly live entertainment & a night club that’s open Friday & Saturday nights. Pool area has private cabana’s you can rent for the day and the beach offers beach chairs & umbrellas you can rent at a discounted rate if you are a guess at the hotel. Location: This hotel is situated on a perfect beachfront that’s both family or adult friendly. There is a gas station across the street where you can stock up on alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks and snacks. There are also plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. Tips: If you aren’t fond of loud music, request for rooms that faces the city not the ocean as there is nightly live entertainment. We didn’t mind the music. The island is really too small to drive. The streets are busy not only with pedestrian but with cars and you literally could walk everywhere so don’t rent a car unless you plan on traveling away from the island. Overall, the service, amenities and the hotel was great! We will return!!
