Even though you have an LLC (Limited Liability Corporation) in the state of Arizona you will also need to have a Arizona transaction privilege tax (TPT), commonly referred to as a sales tax license in order to sell catalytic converters. This is because each manufacturer uses different amounts of precious metals in the catalytic converters depending on the intended vehicle. However, this can vary for each vehicle. Another factor is that they need to be visually inspected to determine how much catalyst remain in the converter. All of this makes it very difficult to give rough estimate.
