Thanks for being so good at responding. Do y'all buy used brake boosters, alternators, and whole engines? To the public..

Good morning Liam, We are currently not purchasing brake boosters or engines. We do purchase some alternators, however only certain ones. You can contact our automotive core department for details on which cores we are currently purchasing. That number is 877.PHX.CORE (749.2673). Thank you

I was told that y'all don't accept catalytic converter from the general public. Ok we'll, I'm not the general public...I have an LLC in this state? Doesn't that mean I can sell you the used catalytics

Hello Liam, Thank you for clarifying that you are an LLC. Even though you have an LLC (Limited Liability Corporation) in the state of Arizona you will also need to have a Arizona transaction privilege tax (TPT), commonly referred to as a sales tax license in order to sell catalytic converters. If you have more questions or would like to speak with an account manager about catalytic converters, please feel free to call our office at 602.258.6500. Thank you!

I have a Cadillac converter and 2 mufflers. They are off a 2017 ford explorer 3.5. can I get a estimate on how much?

Hello Liam, Thank you for your question. We do not purchase catalytic converters from the general public. We only purchase from licensed businesses that also have a Arizona transaction privilege tax (TPT). This is in compliance with state and federal laws. Have a great day.

I see a lot of questions about how much is a cc but not a real answer. I want a rough idea of how much you pay for a cc so I know if it's worth my time to fool with it so please give me a rough estimate on my cc if I were to bring it in please

Michael is correct, prices vary greatly depending on many factors, such as year, make model and condition. This is because each manufacturer uses different amounts of precious metals in the catalytic converters depending on the intended vehicle. However, this can vary for each vehicle. Another factor is that they need to be visually inspected to determine how much catalyst remain in the converter. All of this makes it very difficult to give rough estimate.

We buy many different types of automotive cores depending on the market demands. If a core is not in demand for remanufacturing the value of that core is reduced or eliminated altogether. In order to save you time and frustration, please feel free to call our call center (877.PHX.CORE), to see what the current pricing/value of any core is or to know what specific cores we are purchasing at this time before making a trip to our location. Sincerely, Phoenix Automotive Cores

You should bring it in for them to look at it, they will tell you how much they will pay for it before they buy it, so you can still take it back if you don't like the offer
