At Christmas time they only have one cashier. Outside of store filthy. Candy boxes up front at checkout that were empty, dirty. Store doesn't look like they have ever cleaned it. I will never go in there again.

I shop there at the Hudson store, within the same mall as Big Lots. The store itself looks old, the floors were dirty, with trash on the floor. Particularly where the shopping carts are store. There was papers and a scungi laying on the floor,, despite this their aisles were clear of boxes on the floor. The aisles were very small, difficult maneuvering two carts in the aisle and trying to turn around, because the aisles are very narrow. I did not notice if the aisles were marked. It was difficult shopping for what I needed, as I'm accustomed to the layout of DG layout in the other DG stores. The staff were polite, and opened another register, so we didn't have to wait too long. The store is in close proximity to the other Hudson store. Perhaps it would do best in a little South location, South of Walmart. It would do better if it was in it's own building with more square ft. I was not greeted when I came in because of the set up of the store. I would shop there again if I needed something.

Smells like wet dog and mildew inside, everytime I go there they are always out of stock on the same items for months. Hate to leave a bad review but I have to be honest, on a the bright side the older lady at the cash register was very friendly

Friendly, helpful staff. Clerk had an aggressive customer who appeared to have stolen something. (Alarm at the door entrance/exit kept going off as he tried to leave) Clerk handled the situation calmly, but carefully, while still attending other customers. Kudos!
