I must compliment the staff of this VA Hospital. I have had excellent service here as I have used four other VA Hospitals nationwide and this one is the best. They got a lot of bad publicity due to a scandal years ago and now they have their act together. I have used their services for sleep apnea, mental health, eye care, recreational therapy and most notably, they saved my life when I was infected with COVID-19. I have total trust in the staff and they are true professionals.

I went to the ER for care over the weekend. I expected a long wait since it was the weekend, and staffing might be limited. That was not the case, and I got in right away. The staff was very friendly and professional. My significant other was in the waiting room and told me that the front staff, on multiple occasions, left the front window to compassionately interact with the waiting patients. They also reached out to her to make sure she was well. We are both medical professionals, and did not expect quality care at the VA. I was happily surprised.
