Great school, my son had an amazing experience
Don Jenkinson
I went through the school in 1998 and I did find success diving in the oil fields and later in NASA's NBL. However recently I needed a copy of my scuba certs and at the the time they weren't affiliated. So after 20 years of diving turns out I'm neither certified in padi or naui. So I'm headed back to diver 101

I went in soon thereafter and met with Dylan. I revealed to him I was hoping to get more genuine with regards to scuba plunging and needed to get fitted head to toe with everything. Dylan was a unimaginable asset who strolled me through all that I required. Some of the time the data was somewhat overpowering, however you can tell he knows a great deal.

I had an amazing time at this school, probably some of the most fun I have ever had in my life. The best part is that I got hired by an awesome inland diving company before I even graduated. One thing to keep in mind is that very very few people make it in the industry. It's not the fault of the industry, it's just that very few people can hack it. I found that dive school was super easy and a lot of fun, if you think it is hard, you probably aren't cut out to be a commercial diver, because from what I've experienced, the hardest day at school is like the easiest day at work.

As a guy who works offshore and inland...I find it beneficial to find an inland company that will allow you 40 hours per week regardless if theres a job or not offshore only keeps you paid if there is work a d lately there hasnt been so the past 2 years of diving I've made more money inland with better benefits than offshore where I wasnt making hardly any money spending more time home than out on a job it's just how the industry has been since I've been a diver
I graduated last month and i can say first hand that its an amazing program and i would change anything. Nick, the job placement guy really helps you get a job in the field after your finish. All the instructors are amazing people and full of knowledge. I would highly recommend dit.
They should be able to help recommend housing. Just ask. My son stayed in an apartment building about 10 minutes away. It was called Soren. Beautiful little place. A little expensive but worth it.
DIT has a list of cheap housing that they partner with, feel free to contact admissions and ask them about it!
In most cases yes. But you or them should call our admission team for more details
Just sign up .
Jogging has nothing to do with diving. The swim is really easy as long as you know how to float. It's not timed at all so you have all day if needed
The whole course is 7 months expect to spend at least 30,000$ you can contrct them directly and they will tell you everything you need to know as far as fees go
