Went to their Greek Festival- well organized, great security, foods were amazing. Baklava; what's not to love?!? Lots of opportunity for cultural gift shopping. Music, dancing. My favorite part was the free self guided tour of the church; grand yet welcoming building with breathtaking stained glass depictions of biblical events. Friend lit candle for her recently departed husband, I lit one for Ukraine. Excellent way to spend the day! π

This may be late but to be a member you must be crismated in the church. You start as a catehuman where you learn what we believe and why we believe. This is also a time where you ask questions and truly understand why Orthodoxy is the true body of Christ. Orthodoxy is the pre-denominational church of Christ. The undivided body. Then you are baptized and can receive communion once you have a clear understanding as to why we do everything that we do. To my knowledge there is no fee but Christβs ask for us to tithe and to give alms. It is required by Christ that we give at least 10% percent of our income. I hope I was able to answer your question correctly. If you want to know more call the church as ask Father Apostolos (:
