It is doing a great service for this local community and it will receive all my future donations to the thrift store there. It funds the food bank there that provides a huge service directly to the local community.

Volunteered here through musically fed. Woman with shaved head was extremely rude and yelling at people who were just browsing seeing what they wanted. She was yelling at them to take more/less and hovering over them. When we asked her to chill out she said she was “running on 3 hours of sleep”. Not an excuse to treat these people with such disrespect when all they are doing is shopping for food for their families.

Don't want donations, fyi. Really strange experience when attempting to donate to this local charity (instead of dumping at the regular place). Guess I'll head to the regular place though.

this place is pretty terrible. I am talking about the food bank. It's dictated by an overbearing worker, (short stature, shaved head, female?) hovering over every single person, making them nervous and yelling at them as they browse. It's like a parent slapping a child's hand and telling them no. I get that there are difficult people but I saw everyone complying and understanding. These are desperate times but making people feel like thieves right as they walk in is really bad for this supposed to be compassionate food pantry. There is limited food and hardly any selection. Only bread and bananas basically. I'm sure people will get what they can take but this whole power trip this worker has needs to be addressed.

One other thing, as long as the cans are not rusting and have been kept in below 80 degrees the food is good for up to 35 years
Most all food banks will give you one and other stuff
General public is invited to pick up food boxes on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays. Seniors and Veterans pick up on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Seniors and Veterans may also pick up additional food during the open to public times also.
2-4 pm saturdays and. Tuesdays
No honey we r not doing residential delivery at this time however God willing its always possible
Food bank is only open on the second Tuesday of each month from 9am to 11am. Only for senior citizens and veterans.
I think you might have to pay $20 for meats and food in the boxes. Im not positive.
