I was referred to Terry & Earthsmarte water by a family member who just had the system installed. The family member never interacted with Terry and has no long term history on performance of the system but the water tastes good so I pursued getting more information. Terry came out to the house and whether he realizes it or not has the demeanor of a salesmen and speaks very quickly throwing a lot of information at you. He sort of causally said we could drain the backwash out the wall to the side of our house which caused concern. Terry took a call where I was asking for clarification and other options because we don’t want water draining out against the base of the house. Terry provided an alternative system. Some time passed where my partner and discussed pros and cons. My partner wanted technical specification information on the system and Terry refused to provide this data and claimed his 40 years in the industry should be enough and I should find another vendor. I was rather shocked and found the behavior unprofessional. I am not a water or filter specialist and it is it not unreasonable to ask for documentation on the $3000 system being proposed. So unfortunately this review is not on the system itself. Just the negative interaction that resulted in us redirecting our attention to another vendor.

I thought I did my research, bit what I should've looked into more was there track record in regards to warranty and response times for them to come back and fix their product. At first I was comfortable with the purchase. But after the first time I saw it leaking, I began to wonder about the quality of the product. I've owned this product for about 3 years now and it has leaked 3 - 4 times. He has always come out to fix the issue within a week or so after I call it in. This last time it has been over 4 weeks! This is terrible customer service. Had I known that this is how they value their customers, I would have never picked this company. When deciding who to go with. Beside the price and technology, check the reviews in regards to warranty and support. I do not recommend this company at all.

This company will do backflips and promise the world to obtain your money, however once you need service on their mediocre products, good luck. I have left 3 message for them regarding a malfunction and a system leak and they refuse to call me back. Buyer beware, I would look anywhere else but here.

Over the past 3 years, we have bought two of the water treatment systems for our houses in Gold Canyon, AZ. The sales side of the business is Johnny-on-the-spot, but quite frankly, the service side leaves much to be desired. The first system developed a fitting leak, and it took multiple calls to get a service technician to arrive and repair. The first call, we were chastised for "letting the system run dry and we ruined the descaler". No, we didn't and no, the descaler was just fine. Twice, the service rep didn't show up on the day/time he said he would (We waited each whole day for him to show.) He finally did show up on the third scheduled time. Our second system, now two years old has developed a leak at the junction of the main filter unit and the control head. Repeated calls to the phone number indicated on their website has not resulted in even a single call-back. We are still waiting, and yes, the leak is still dripping........ We like the water, like the product, and are not pleased with the service.
