After getting diagnosed with polycythemia vera, 3 blood clotting disorders plus already having a mysterious nonstop high heart rate that I have to take propranolol for, I was told I needed to get a follow up per my Hemotoligist/Oncologist. So I called and was assigned to Kumars nurse practitioner, well that will be the end of my services with this office/practice. Fist her English is horrible she is so hard to understand. I do not fit in the normal bubble, no immediate reasons to be seen, young and have always been a physically somewhat fit person and she told me that it's all in my head to go see a a doctor for extreme anxiety, told her I have already been to 2 different ones and neither have thought it was a big enough concern to put me on antidepressants anti-anxiety meds. I have normal anxiety with the situation that I am in. As well my Hemotoligist has seen me at my worst at every breaking point and doesn't feel I need that type of medicine. Asked her to direct me to the type of doctor that handles swelling in my head, hands and feet her response was she's a heart doctor and she can tell.me my heart is fine. I asked her then why do I take a heart medication to lower my heart rate, her profession answer was I don't know and once again it's all in my head, to come back in 3 months to see if we need to up my heart medication, wth why not try to figure out why it's high rather then dismiss me?

First off, I'm not Len, I'm Doris Berman. Len passed away 6 yrs ago and never went to this office. I was the patient, and went through a lot of tests in January and February of 2021. Was given an appointment to go over the results and the doctor or PA didn't speak very good english but she didn't seem too concerned about the results, just wanted me back for a checkup in 3 months. Went on the internet over the week-end and found I owe over $130 for the tests that was not paid for by Medicare. Called the Billing Department to find out why I had not received a bill. Was told they had the wrong address. Canceled the next appointment as decided I couldn't afford it and wouldn't be able to understand her any better. Not too happy with this experience.
