It's my fault for losing track of time and not paying my rent on time this month. 100%. So I'm not blaming anyone but myself for that. But I would prefer an email or call from the office as a reminder in the event that I did forget to pay. I get the feeling like they're hoping you forget or don't pay so they can collect the late fees (which are ludicrous). If they have their renter's best interest in mind then that basic courtesy should be extended. Unrelated update: rent has gone up 15% in only 2 years. For most people, the standard yearly raise (if they even get one) is 3%. I'll let the reader do the math. In fairness, all apartment complexes will bend you over backwards like this - it's a scummy business that's all about money. I don't even have new appliances. The fridge is from 1990. I been dealing with a finicky fridge since the day I moved in but maybe this year since rent is astronomical I'll make them replace it. Hell....I know they have the money!

The treatment we received after moveout is an embarrassment. We took the time to vacuum, dust, sweep, clean sinks, toilets and yet I still get a $75 cleaning bill because we dared to leave curtain rods on the bedroom windows, shower curtain hooks in the bathroom and the same stained drip tray on the stove. I left the stuff thinking I was being nice, how foolish of me.

I've been in my apartment almost 2 years now, and I have nothing but great things to say about this complex and team! They are extremely kind, helpful, and efficient when handling maintenance requests and concerns. I absolutely love the area and love how close we are to everything in town. They have a dog park, outdoor seating, bbq spots, walking paths, and much more. During snow storms, their team works hard to clear all walking paths and parking lots. During the holidays, the team creates fun challenges to get everyone involved. The residents here are friendly and kind! Everyone says hello, and they are always there if you need something. I would highly recommend taking a look at The Villager at Barton Run if you are shopping for apartments!

There's always a ton of parking lot parking, as well. There are enough in the parking lot that I barely see anyone parked on the street.
