I lived at Gayley for several years. At first it was great however the apartments once you move in are not maintained. Rolling carpet, peeling paint. Raccoons in the dumpsters that lunge at residents. Parking is awful. Don’t even get me started on the cockroaches. Rent went up with no added updates or amenities.

I have lived in building A for 15 years. You live here for the amazing location. Pros: The building has all of your nessisties covered, heat and water included, medium size storage locker, many washing/drying machines which are card operated. It is most likely one of the more affordable places in the area, and it's a very safe place to live. Cons: Roaches, flies, and bugs are a real issue in building A. The maintenance guys are ok, some better than others. In my personal experience the heat and hot water did go out a fair amount of times. The walls and floors are very thin, you will hear your neighbors conversations. Raccoons are often in the dumpster.

We had a hassle-free experience living at Gayley Park apartments for 2.5 years. Accommodations may not be "luxurious" but I'd say it is well-kept for ~40 year old buildings. Having lived in both building A & B, I was surprised at how quiet it was in both places- the walls must be dense/thick. We didn't have many issues but mgmt was always quick to respond. Media is not a cheap place to live but Gayley Park is one of the best values for this area- I recommend it.
