My grandmother passed away in Jan 2018. As we all know funeral expenses are pricey. Thankfully her insurance was able to cover her burial expenses and cost but unfortunately not her headstone. Our family saved money to pay for headstone and was referred to an outside third party company. We were told the process wouldn’t start until the last payment was complete . Understood. So we made several payments and knew this would be a process . So we waited. My Aunt paid the remaining balance in December 2021. Immediately upon paying it off we were working with Ms Freda that advised that they would begin the process of production . We were told it could take several months . We understood! We were hoping and praying that by Mothers Day 2022, our family would be able to view her headstone and have a small memorial in remembrance of her . So we waited . Around March / April we started to call to check status. Ms. Freda would never call back and take the same information over again. It was extremely difficult reaching anyone. We would call and then “oh it’s a different person”. We have made several attempts with emails and calls with no response . We were told to send over documents, which was done. My mother and I have made calls and was told “ let me take your information and we will get back you “ . This has been very stressful to my mom and her siblings. To hear time after time we are working on it or someone will call us back. No movement what so ever . This has been the worst experience ever . We want to be able to visit my grandmother and she has a actual headstone that she deserves. My grandmother was the glue that held us together and she deserves to be honored. To others this may be simple but to US she was everything and well known lady in the community . We want to place flowers on her headstone and see her name . So here we are coming up on a year after payment made in full and nothing . Same story different day . We spoke with Jonae Carpenter and on 9/9 who stated they will research and give us a call back .We did receive a call and it was stated it was on the truck . So we assumed it’s made . Right ? Umm no, Wrong. So on today 10/19 we spoke to Jonae Carpenter who is now oblivious to last month’s conversation and She said she would talk with GM Richie Rhue. So the wait continues… I pray that some movement happens . I feel my family has been more than patient and our hands are tied at this point . My next option is to contact the local news because my grandmother does not deserve this! I will continue to contact whoever I can to ensure it gets done .

I do not recommend this organization. During our time of grief and vulnerability they were insensitive to our needs.We were overcharged for services and had to pay an astronomical additional cost to lay our mother to rest . Conflicting information was given by different staff when asked what the additional cost covered.. leads me to believe the additional money was pocketed.
