Simply not enough shaded path for this time of year.

It's cleared everything is back to normal.. ..
I know for certain the Dairy Ashford parking lot is open. I was on the Dairy Ashford trail headed towards the Beltway 8 parking lot but doubled back before getting to the lot. However, there were people coming from that direction so I believe the Beltway 8 parking lot is open.
I would think so. A lot of hills and trees and the paths are easy to follow.
The bluebonnets are in 2 places. You can park off Memorial or the Katy Freeway feeder road, head past the apartment complex headed south and when you get to the end of the bridge you can see them. There is another patch off the trail leading from the Dairy Ashford entrance. Once you park take the sidewalk running along Dairy Ashford (turning right) and follow the path about hmmm a mile...the bluebonnets will be in the right.
Most of it. But very muggy and pungent from the floods. If you can tough it out...go for it!! We do :)
From Dairy Ashford to Eldridge that's the only part I have seen for myself and the trail is still under water.
No. You can't have an open fire in this park. Not really a picnic kinda park. More nature, biking, walking.
As far as I saw I'd say no but I'd still check with the park. Office
Yes
Yes you can, you'll love it... please take care of your own trash. If you bring it with you, please take it with you and help protect the beauty of the place and the wildlife.
The area between memorial going toward Eldridge is called the blue jay trail. PCT 3 has a parks section that shows all the layouts for the parks. On the Terry Hershey layout it says the loop of blue jay trail is 1.47 miles.
They have lights on the trail which go out every once in a while.
No
Langham creek mixes with Buffalo Bayou just south of memorial, but there is a designated kayak (or was before Havey) off Memorial Medows. I have also seem kayaks launched from near Hwy 6.
No on the barbeque, no fires allowed. Yes on the volleyball. And please keep in mind that this is OUR park. Let's keep it clean, remove all your trash when leaving. Thanks
There is a large gazebo in the main part of this park. But, I think it is first come first serve.
First come first serve. Just do not leave valuables, in your car at this park unless you want them to disappear.
I see people, mostly kids, fishing buffalo bayou all the time. There are two water treatment plants feeding into the bayou between HWY 6 and Beltway 8 so I would give eating them a pass, but that's just me.
As per prior responses... no dog park. But one at George Bush park
No you cannot. Your best bet is to visit a local bike shop.
