Please dont send loved ones here. *Also let me say, I am editting this after they requested me to waste my time and effort to reach out to them, when I was there in person and my concerns were ignored and not taken seriously. I do NOT wish to reach out to them so my concerns could fall on deaf ears yet again. My loved one was assaulted at this facility, they do not take care of loved ones, ensuring they eat, are dressed you know basic care. Also multiple items were missing when we picked up their belongings. Please I BEG YOU DO NOT SEND LOVED ONES TO THIS SH WHOLE.

Focus Care of Beechnut in Houston, Texas, should be closed down! Many of the staff are very mean, lazy and lack compassion towards the residents. They steal the residents food, clothing and other personal belongings. They retailiate against residents that they feel are not cooperating like they should. Many staff refuse to give the residents their medication if the resident makes them angry. Roaches are all in the bedrooms rooms of their residents. They refuse to bathe the residents consistently. The kitchen staff refuses to ensure that those on low sodium diets are accompanied with the correct meals. This place is horrible! There are some very good staff there, but the majority seem to be a staff full of negligence from the nurses down to the food prep staff. Complaints go ignored. They will claim to be trying to resolve issues, but they'll keep doing the same things over and over again. I cannot believe that the state hasn't shut this center down. There are so many infractions. The nurses have a string bond to protect each other from being exposed for their wrongdoings, it should be illegal!! The director is wonderful, but many of his workers are not equipped with enough love and compassion to be working there. Hats off to the good nurses and staff, but unfortunately the unethical nurses and staff have placed a bad name over the entire center!!!

Tried to visit there to go and see my mom on Mother's but they wouldn't allow me due to I had make an ✌🏼appointment✌🏼..... Oooook I understand this pandemic situation still currently out of hand but good grief...🙄
