My father was transferred on a Sunday evening to recover from heart surgery. My mom didn't like the vibe but we decided to wait a couple of days to judge. By the next day, Monday, they had lost the bottom portion of his dentures. The nurse seemed worried that day, but staff was in full denial by Tuesday. That night around 2am, he was found on the floor. On Wednesday, he was sent to the ER because of chest pain, never noting his fall or the bruising all over his back. He was there a total of 3 horrible days. The MHSW ER nurses couldn't believe the extent of his diaper rash and bruising. Getting a hold of someone was another battle. When we did, there would just update their notes and would look into the matter. I haven't heard from them since. We feel extremely guilty for leaving him there a single minute.

This is Brian Carraway sister we have been asking for help since day one I personally spoke with the DON and the social worker to assist me on a few things and to see that we get a team meeting that never happened as promised room change never happened excuses after promises to it prompt my brother to walk out signing a AMA given a AMA as no one cared with IVs in his arms. There’s more as this place and memorial Hermann beechnut hospital I will see that the CEO knows about this and we are not done. I was hung up on yesterday twice they need to check the workers credentials I want to see a full chart notes no dr. Come in but bill Medicare Medicare will also be involved. No one has called me yet. I’m going to every channel I was told to bring wipes and his own spray so he doesn’t get chaff or soreness because they use hard white towels the rooms always dirty. This is unacceptable!!!! How can a critically I’ll patient walk out with ivs like no one care??? We been denied his medical records, ect. We will see that every Dr. Charges done is legitimate he has not eaten any n a week due to the food provided and he discussed it a nutritionist was supposed to support him that didn’t happened. We will get to the bottom of this so another patient and family member will not have to deal with these types of behavior there was no empathy the nurses at the desk was rude when I ask first visit why wasn’t he changed blaming one another saying he never called and he was soiled when I arrived for the second shift aid to change him. Unacceptable!!
