Do not go to the Visionworks on Plaza Blvd in Lancaster, PA. My boyfriend just had the worst experience there. He recently was diagnosed with glocoma and went to them to fill his prescription and get new glasses. 3 weeks after, we had not heard anything. Everytime I called, the automatic voice would say that the glasses were pending. That they were delayed to ensure they were made right. Finally I called and asked to be connected to a store employee. I was transferred to the customer service center. I got a person who I could not understand at all. We called back and was again connected right away to customer service center. The person tells me that his glasses are at the store ready to be picked up but couldn't tell me how long they had them. She stated that the delay in communication was due to the transitioning of a new computer system. My boyfriend and his mother went to the store to see if they were there. They had to have known they were coming because she was so angry with the customer service agent that kind of service is rediculous and not professional. They arrived more than an hour before they close and the store was closed.When they went the next morning there was an orange note with the order probably a note that these customers are not happy. The employee was very rude and rudely demanded another employee gentleman ( who has always been very friendly during past appointments ) take care of them. Not one person apologized for the poor customer service and communication. Very un professional. Not even a manager came to talk to them about how they can fix the situation. My boyfriend says he doesn't think they were made right because he has trouble reading and seeing up close. Which means we may have to interact with the store again if there is a problem with the glasses. We will probably be met with their rudeness and unprofessionalism again. We will not be going there again.I guess they don't care about their service skills and any negative reviews because we see so many other negative reviews of customers stating their negative experience. Hopefully they get less and less customers and have to close the location unless they can make some improvements.

I have been coming to this Visionworks office since I was younger for appointments and every time I go it's a good experience! I had my annual eye exam 2 weeks ago and I can say everyone was sweet and helpful with everything. I do want to give a shout-out to Jessica Ramos for helping me figure out what my insurance covers and helping me find a very nice pair of glasses! :) It was appreciated!

Same issue I just went to the store.
@ Sally Haldeman I've been going through the same thing I just went in person they took care of me fast I went to their website and nothing I just went in. I hope that this helps I think that going in person is better walk in
I believe if you're going in for an exam or anything that requires seeing the doctor or contacts tech you do. But if you are going in to get glasses adjusted, pick up etc. you don't
Your going to need to call them. I do believe they do. Esp for kiddos

Hello Kenny, not all frames are accepted, it is best to bring your frame to the store and our associates will let you know if you can put lenses on the frame you want to use.

I am here now phones are not even ringing and I been calling for about 3 weeks till I finally came down here every excuse new phones
Call and tell them whats going on they will schedule you an appointment.
The last time I was there they told me their system is not working properly. I am not sure if that is the reason for your issue but I just wanted to let you know.
They are open. Unfortunately, their customer service is very poor. If you are choosing glasses, just walk in. If you want to make an appointment also walk in and make it there.
I've never had a problem. You'll need to ask the office.
