Great place to camp and explore the island. Sites are well maintained and have a lot of space. Views are stunning! Would camp there again.

Beautiful place to watch the sunset. You can see Canada across the water.

This is a gorgeous place to go for the day and it has campgrounds so you can stay the night too!

Reserve as early as possible to get the sites you want! It is really pretty and good views for sunset. While I do appreciate the quiet time rules, the campsites are too close together.. could hear others conversations.. also if you are one of the sites in the back, it is pretty loud with the highway right there. Kinda ruins the out in nature, hear the sea kinda sounds.. that being said, There's some steps that lead down to a small sandy beach area which was so pretty! Was able to see seals wanting to come up to shore. There's also plenty of of places to sit and see the views of the Olympic peninsula and Vancouver.

I would call and ask since you did say a small motorhome. Bottom line is they don't have hookups and space is limited but if your motorhome is built from say a Chevy Astro or Volkswagen Eurovan and you don't mind dry camping that might not be a problem as we camped there in my Astro with no problems
No. They also have a sign that said 20 feet limit. But there were plenty of sights that would accommodate much larger rigs. On the hill there were level long sites.
There's power, no sewer at the site. The rv dump is on the other side of Friday harbor
https://www.sanjuanco.com/466/Camping-Information Look at their website for camping and call. We weren't camping just enjoying our scenic vacation.
Suggest that you check directly with the park, their website is found at https://www.sanjuanco.com/921/San-Juan-Island
Sea Quest Expeditions says, "Depending on your kayaking experience, you may qualify to rent an expedition-grade solo or tandem sea kayak in Friday Harbor."
Well, what we did, was we got our campsite booked on a website, there are a fair amount of people, but not that many, and you would have to check in at the front log cabin to book a site.
If you're lucky but i wouldn't leave it to chance.
