Made an appointment to get my daughters drivers license under the option “apply for a Texas DL/permit” because she is 18 and needs her drivers license. The lady stated you chose the option to get a permit only. NO that is not what it says. She stated you must select the option “I need a road test”. The fact that she has to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION for a license means she is applying for a DL. This process is ridiculous after waiting months for an appt! Now she has to wait another month.

I want to commend the Corsicana DPS office personnel for their helpful attitudes and professionalism. I was there with my daughter Friday to get a learner’s permit and we were missing a document. I didn’t catch her name, but the clerk was extremely helpful with telling us how to get what we needed and she scheduled another appointment for us for Monday. On Monday, Marlo Carver helped us and we also witnessed her helping others with patience and kindness that you just don’t see every day. What a positive experience! Thank you, ladies! You are doing great work!

My little sister ended up coming here for her first drivers license picture. Apparently the women that took care of her was extremely rude and told my sister “this isn’t a photo shoot”. Excuse me? If she wants to put on make up and do her hair she has every right to do so. I wish I was there to confront the lady. She a white lady that was heavy set.

Good morning, I need to know what is happening with my renewal of my license. It has been many days since I went to renew it and they did not tell me anything, I urgently need to know what is happening.

Yes but if u can get in at the Hillsboro office before they open then they mite see u!! They do walkins if they not busy but u have to go in early as possible... Just go in and talk wit someone and there a chance u will be seen by someone... Corsicana helped me out alot i needed to go for my retest since my license was expired and they helped me out alot.. Ive finished my written part and my impact videos and now all i have to do is schedule a appointment for my driving test and ill be complete..
When I was there someone tried to do a walk-in and they told him he had to have a appointment
You may have checked already but you can renew your license online a few times before they make you actually come into the office . I think the last letter I got stated I had to come in, otherwise you can go to the website and renew I assume if you live anywhere in texas
it should be about $11-$16
Yes
It cost 35.00
You can go in and they may schedule you for the same day. POSSIBLY. I went in at 11 and they scheduled me for 2pm that same day. All depends when they have available. Personally I'd call them to see what they have available. ;) Best of luck
Court house or police department or if you where out of city limits sheriff department is where you need to go.
You can renew a Dl at any dmv office .
You should be able to get id with drivers license you might need your passport or birth certificate to get as well as your current driver's license
Jackie Williams I would suggest to you to call them. On the TDPS site there is a phone number. Call them and just explain your having problems and they will assist you with the appointment.
You will have to go to the main office in Waco for a commercial license plate.
Everything Above and Proof of insurance and registration of your vehicle if you own one.

No but I want to book for appointment for permit test
Yes, you may take the driving test at any Texas location
I think you also need two pieces of mail for proof of address.
Where you able get your DL?
About two weeks.
No just go up there fill out the renewal application and as long as nothing has changed you should be able to get a new one
On the bottom of the DL. 25 digits.
No. If it is not two years past expiration no retest required.
They do not.
