Amazing place located in the middle of nowhere!!! TAKE YOUR EXAM HERE. Ladies and Gentleman are super nice, and helpful! Passed my DL exam so I am excited. Don’t go to Stephenville DPS, the proctor that administers your exam is rude and makes you feel worthless. The lady who administered my exam was not only sweet, but straight to the point and kind! Kudos to y’all! In & out in 20 minutes and honestly if I need to renew I’ll just drive all the way here for their efficient, awesome workers 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

By far the most efficient DMV experience I have ever had. The scheduling was very easy. I showed up a couple of minutes early for my appointment and they were ready for me. Employees were courteous and personable. I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend this location!

Yes.
Rotate lunches between 11:30 -2 so service time slows down because only one person but do not close.
Yes! I'm not from Tolar's county, but I got mine there!
Old license birth certificate or passport

There's the Cleburne office they're pretty nice too but the one that you speak of I had the most pleasant experience it by far the best one I've ever been to
No
Making an appointment would help you know when the appointment is. Though that may be a long wait. Walk-in is basically FCFS: people go there and get to go in only if someone who had set up an appointment is a no show.
You'll need to make an appointment, but due to covid you have until April 14th to get it done
I think Feb 2. Best to go here and wait for opening. I did and got in within hr.
I was just there on Monday, they are setting up more appointments daily online. They also have someone at the door to answer questions & doing appointments too. Might help
You can get a replacement on line.
I would contact your local DPS office and speak to them about it. They will be able to tell you more about it. You may have to schedule at a different DPS office for a closer Appointment date. You may also be able to do a Walk-In. Ask your Local DPS Office if they are accepting Walk-Ins or not to find out. I actually just renewed my own license yesterday and they were accepting walkins till a certain time of the day at Stephenville, tx DPS office.
You have to have a license driver wth you.
Yes it is handicap parking an no stairs
15 $
Would be best
There is not a number for inside use at DPS office. If you need a copy of your record you can go to dps.texas.gov. If you need a receipt from your transaction you will need to go into office
Get there around 730 am on a Monday or Tuesday, or the one in Stephenville they are quick not much time to stand in line plus they have enough room to take a seat if they are busy, the one in Tolar you will end up waiting in line outside. Please save yourself some time and take your birth certificate
$25 for non CDL.
If you have an outstanding/current warrant, there is a very strong likelihood that the visit may result in your being arrested. As for ID they accept items and documentation such as, old Id or drivers license (within two years since expired) unexpired passport, or two of the following: original or certified birth certificate, pilots licence, concealed carry licence, voter Id card, w2 or 1099, veterans id card, original or certified copy of marriage licence, any insurance policy(valid continuously for the past 2years, current motor vehicle registration or title, current boat registration or title, Medicare or Medicaid card, immunization records, unexpired foreign passport, state or federal parole or release certificate, inmate id card, social security card. No. He must be a resident for 30 days if he is not surrendering an out of state license.
No. However you have two years after it expires to not require retesting. But you cannot drive while it is expired.
Bring your exam paper to the office
You can go anywhere.
My Grandson lost his temporary permit. How do I get another one?
Yes
I would call the office or look on the DMV website, I would think they'd be closed but I'm not sure! Hope this helps!
Weekdays
Look online. Or bring your old one plus your social security card or your birth certificate and social security card.
No. The DMV is very strict about their times and dates. Show up at the day they gave you SEVERAL HOURS before you are scheduled to take your test (Texas DMV website says it is mandatory to show up at least one hour before appointed time).
If I get there by 12 today do you think it's worth trying to get a road test
I am trying to get my driving test appointment through the internet but I cannot get through to make my appointment because it asked for a Texas driver's license number and I do not have one yet. Can you help me through this
Go to the police and have them check.
No appointment needed for renewal. If it isn’t expired yet you maybe able to skip the trip and do it online.
