It's hot on shop floor during the summer & it's got the typical problems that plague most manufacturing jobs I've had. That being said, if you are a hard worker, at least a little mechanically inclined &/or learn fast on the job, there's always room to move up here. A good place to test your mettle.

If you are looking for overtime, opportunity for quick promotion, are mentally tough, want a chance to prove yourself, and want good pay for a entry level position? Kalas is for you. The leadership is kind, dedicated and are willing to work with you. When mistakes are made they simply correct it, no judgement. Which amazed me. I never heard a lead yell at anyone for rework. They are all about "what the customer wants." To 50% of "why" questions I asked, the answer? "It's what the customer wants, that's what we will give them." People have been working there for years, with countless mandatory overtime-- the vibe there is the American spirit of hard work. People there take pride in what they do. Serving customers and keeping the American dream alive! If you are a college student pursing technical work? I'd recommend it. It would look really good on your resume. They have PT available, but better benefits with FT. I pray they stay in America, proud to see things can still be American made! It was a really good experience- mainly because of the people I worked with, lot of kindness and grace when I didn't always deserve it. I could only last 3.5 months but was a really good memory. If you fit in with the culture and like a semi physical challenge and semi strategic work mental challenge? You will like it. There is some variety, so keeps it interesting.

if i could give no star i would, I wouldn’t work here if i were you. keep looking. very rude people here especially HR and supervisors with 1st shift. Never get sick even with covid cause they will fire you even with doctor notes even during a pandemic. people might like the place if it wasn’t such horrible working conditions and nicer environment. so much disrespect. they are lucky people don’t sue them for the wrongness they cause others. safety violations everywhere.
