I had gotten several quotes for systems and BrightEye was the one that I liked the most - and actually talking with someone really helped me understand why I would want to go with them. The install process also happened much quicker than I had been anticipating given the current supply chain climate. And during the install they made sure to pull me aside so we could talk about how to make it look nice. Throughout the process there were only a couple of little miscommunications, andthey were resolved very quickly and didn't have any impact on the installation itself. I would highly recommend BrightEye.

We reached out to Bright Eye Solar because of their history of professional and knowledgeable service. They certainly matched that history with our installation and certainly recommend them to future solar customers.

We found Bright Eye Solar the last time that we had some solar panels installed. They had great reviewed in the past and they were right. The process to get things started to install was informative and overall a great process. They kept in communication with me regarding the process to the day of install. The first system that we installed was back in 2019 and we had a couple of issues since then with some of the microinverters. I have to say that it was some difficulty getting a hold of someone to get it fixed, but once I was able to get a hold of someone it was fixed within the week. Similar issues with some of the microinverters again later on throughout the years, but again, once I was able get a hold of someone they came within the week to fix. While the ability to get a hold of someone is mildly difficult that wasn't enough for me to go with someone else with the addition of more panels to my house in 2022. just had more installed a month ago without problem.

We worked with Bright Eye Solar on the design and installation of our 45 panel 16.65 kW Generac based solar array and couldn't be happier with them. I've been in commercial construction for over 30 years, and I was pretty particular about what I wanted. Bright Eye Solar's engineers were able to cater to our needs with the design. The installation crew was great as well! Couldn't ask for a better outcome really. Additionally, by my calculations I figured we'd cover roughly 80% of our usage of our 6,200sf 2-family home but to my surprise, we've been covering 100% AND only using 44% of what we generate! That alone will allow us to bank energy at our electric power company for cloudy days when we're not generating enough for our usage and will save us from having to use our 18 kW battery back-up which will save on its warranty/# of cycles! I would recommend Bright Eye Solar to anyone who wants to work with a great company that will walk you step by step through the process!

Questions & Answers

Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021

Hi T.L, To give you a quote we have a few questions. Is there an email address or phone number that we can contact you? Once we have some information we can put together a quote that will show the layout of the solar panels on your home, savings, return on investment, incentives and financing. Thank you.

Do Solar Energy Systems Work in Cold and/or Cloudy Climates?

Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021
Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021

Most people don’t realize that solar panels actually work more efficiently at lower temperatures. This is because the photovoltaic cells within the panels generate electricity from light — not heat.

Is Pennsylvania a Good Area for Solar?

Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021
Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021

Yes! Even though Pennsylvania has cooler average temperatures than Florida, we get around 90% as much sunshine. And while Germany is the world leader in photovoltaic installs, Pennsylvania receives almost twice as much sunshine! Plus, Pennsylvania’s local utilities offer attractive incentives for a return on investment that’s higher than many other states.

How Long Do Photovoltaic (PV) Panels Last?

Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021
Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021

While most photovoltaic modules are warranted for 25 years, they typically last indefinitely. Solar modules experience small decreases in power output over their lifetime, but this totals less than 1% per year. Best of all, no material is lost from the solar cells or module, nothing harmful is emitted, and there are no moving parts.

Does Owning a Photovoltaic System Involve Routine Maintenance?

Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021
Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021

Since there are no moving parts involved with solar panels, they require little to no maintenance. At Bright Eye Solar, we have the capability to monitor your system remotely through an easy-to-use web portal. If your output becomes too low due to weather conditions, we’ll inspect and troubleshoot your system accordingly.

How Much Does Bright Eye Solar Charge for a Photovoltaic System?

Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021
Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021

While Bright Eye Solar isn’t always able to deliver the lowest cost photovoltaic system, we always ensure that we’re competitively priced. We use only the most reputable, high-quality product manufacturers, and our design, engineering, and installation practices meet the highest industry standards.

What is Net Metering & How Does It Benefit Me?

Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021
Bright Eye Solar | Nov 5, 2021

Net metering allows residential and commercial solar customers to sell the electricity they don’t use back to the grid. If your solar panels overproduce, your electric meter will run backwards and provide a credit against periods when your use exceeds your system’s output. In other words, you’re only billed for your “net” energy use. Best of all, utility companies in some states (like Pennsylvania) will actually pay you for your leftover energy!

Do you do just the installation off 10 panel

I'm sorry but I dont understand your question. We do not do labor only if you own the solar modules if that is what you are asking.
