Just stopped in here for a wash and trim, told them how scared I usually am getting a cut since my hair is naturally curly(its been about a year since I got it cut professionally). The wash was very relaxing and Peter did an awesome job on my hair! He cleaned it up, evened it out and it doesn't feel any shorter which is exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much, Peter! I will be returning for a trim in the future. 😊 Update: Loved my trim so I decided to splurg with my tax refund and get some color. I should have left when I saw how busy they were. Didn't realize how quick the consult would be and that they would only look at one of the photos I brought. They lumped me in with everyone else already there and said I wanted highlights. I honestly don't get my hair done very often so I have no idea what I want but what I got was the opposite. I have stripes, like obvious, contrived lines of blonde so its incredibly obvious I got my hair done which is just not my vibe. For me, less is more. I failed to say something because its such an expensive service anywhere you go and I am too embarrassed to express myself properly and I don't want to come across as a total B*****, which might happen if I speak up. I will likely just dye it brown to cover the stripes. Thank you Peter Salon, other than feeling rushed, everyone is super nice and your business is very comfortable to visit.

Got my grandma and 2 sons hair cut. The gentleman wasn't really listening when I asked him for specific things. Argued with me when I asked him to fix some uneven spots, I asked VERY NICELY. He even used his fingers to poke/shove me in the arm to move. He had "finished," my sons hair and I was asking him to blend an uneven spot.... He seemed really irritated when I asked him to fix anything. I am just going to have to finish the cuts at home. I was very polite to him, but I won't be back. Not the worst hair cut in thr world but the lines are harsh and the line up was a bit odd. Wouldn't have left the review if it hadn't been for the push and attitude about fixing anything. He's lucky I didn't make a big deal about him touching me... He is also not wearing. Mask and asks you to take your mask off for the hair cut. Doesn't bother me. But if that's important to you its something to think about.

Loved it. Through out the entire appointment my stylist was so thorough and paid attention to detail. When everything was styled and finished I felt like a million bucks. My boyfriends jaw hit the floor when I got home. You cant beat the price either. Will totally be returning and recomend Auburn Happy Hair Salon to anyone looking for a quality hair cut and style at an affordable price.
