I wish someone had told me that. I have 2 friends that still live there one is currently waiting on the Texas Tenant Assoc. to come inspect her ceiling that has fallen due to water leak in apt. above her. I told them to leave when I did. I couldn't take living in filth.

I lived there almost 3 yrs and never saw any rats. As far as roaches that depends on how clean you are as well as your neighbors because one filthy unit can cause problems for the whole building. Also they are second chance but before you apply I would call them and see what's acceptable as far as second chance, that changes from time to time
If there are 1 and 2. Bedrooms
You would have to stop by the office. They do have 3 bed rooms though.
