The nurses don't care about anyone, they lie, they are lazy, they don't respect your wishes, they don't respect you at all in fact, they violated HIPAA, they don't give you the messages when your family calls, or let them talk to you. They treat you like a child there, not an adult who checked in to get help. Would not recommend that my worst enemy go there. They made me want to use

The best! The nurse said all you need to do is relax and let us.take care of you The food is very good. I've been twice and the food is much improved. Great staff. No electronics allowed.

I just recently got out. initially I thought a few days of detox was necessary to start. The food is worse than jail food. It feels like cold tomb. Plenty of vhs and dvds the beds feel like coffins and the blankets and pillows feel as if they were made out of straw. No comfort especially considering you need to relax. Its not supposed to be club med or motel 6. But I found myself getting closer with us trying to get better than the staff. A couple of staff members I could relate and speak the same knowledge and I really appreciated them. They made me feel like everything is going to be alright. But! The difference...don't care. I can go further but I won't. But I will say this when our meds kick in and we're trying rest and fight. They party...serious. Check your staff. All and all, thanks for the help. You know who you are. And please! Change your menu! Something encouraging like you want to wake up at 515?!

If I could give them zero stars, I would!!! I don’t even know where to start.. They serve the same food as you get when in pierce county jail, It’s disgusting! All they have entertainment wise is 1 tv with vhs tapes and a couple useless board games missing half the peices.. not to mention it’s all located in a room with 2 couches and a chair. So only 5- 6 people can fit in there at one time and if you’re not one of those 6 people, your only other option is to lay in bed. You share a room with 4-5 other people which is horrible when your all detoxing. The mattresses are basically springs wrapped in plastic, not soft at all, and the sheets slide off just from getting into bed then you stick to it all night long. I was in the shower when they yelled that lunch was ready and didn’t get to eat. When I got out I waited in line for meds and they told me since I “skipped” lunch I had to wait until my next scheduled dose, which was 6 more hours. They made me go 12 hours with no meds 2 1/2 days into my heroin detox, all because I was showering and didn’t know it was time for lunch.. I realize it’s a low budget place and some of that is to be expected, but there’s no excuse for how unbelievably rude and unprofessional the staff is! I’ve been to this place 3 times and only met one decent staff member. This place is hell on earth and I’d recommend staying far away!

Do they help someone get into a treatment facility before being released from detox? It seems pointless to let those who want further treatment to go home because a majority of time those people will relapse within the first 24 hours.

The person needs to arrange that on their own usually. It's fairly simple to go to any outpatient facility and get an assessment and they will help you get into inpatient treatment after detox.

do you have people in the facility on weekends

You have to call and see when they have a bed available for you. If you're going to treatment after they will arrange and tell u when to go. I was there a few years ago They call it medicated but its like a BP pill, anti anxiety (non benzo) i forget what else. How long depends on what for. Opiates was 5 days. When u get there they make u empty out pockets. Its boring and hard to sleep. There is a vending machine and if u want more than the meals they give u bring change.
