I would have loved to go in the time that is full of roses but I still enjoyed it

Be sure to be in town the third week of October for the annual rose festival and parade. Tyler is known as the Rose Capital of America. The rose garden is free but the museum is not, and only accepts cash. Gorgeous roses although October does not seem to be a full bloom season.

We visited in late October and the huge garden of roses was in full bloom. So many varieties and so colorful. The changing colors of the park's trees was a beautiful background to the expansive property. An unexpected treat was the Idea Garden hosted by the Master Gardeners. There were quite a few plantings that I had not seen before. The rose garden and grounds are free to visit and donations are appreciated. It was a very peaceful, well manicured park. Well worth more visits.

For the rose garden, there is no charge. Walm into the center and walk through the glass doors opposite the street entrance and yiu take stairs down to access garden. There is a fee for the museum.

Yes. Except for the Northeast corner. 90% is wheel chair accessible with future plans to make it 100%.
I have seen others doing graduation pics. So I don't think it should be a problem. It would be a lovely place to get your quinceñera photos at
I think late spring is the best. Take your time walking through this place so many roses and other flowers.
Yes. All throughout there is a wheelchair accessible route.
It will be open but if you have any questions feel free to call them through the website you will find the phone number. Its a beautiful and nice place. Also you paid just $3 dollars to visit the museum. Walk through the garden its for free.Don't forget to visit the shop store its awesome. Enjoy your trip.
Yeah call and talk to the garden staff them selves would be the best suggestion I can give!
Since it is still cool we will have to have some warmer weather. They should be blooming in a couple of weeks

I say april is probably best and early in the morning betwen 9 and 12.
Hopefully you should. They have an upcoming rose festival. So there should be roses.
Well I whent there, and I walked all over in about 45 minutes, but it was a self tour, but I took my mask, it was pretty nice I don't know if is a schedule tour, I hope my answer is helpful
No, but they have information about area nurseries where they are available.
They have gift shops there .... not sure what all they have there .....
No, you can't drive thru however there are paths to walk.
It depends on what you are looking for...there are many shady spots to sit and enjoy the peaceful gardens. There are many varities of roses.
Yes
Seriously try it in mid April
They aren't allowed in the visitor's center, but they are allowed in the rose garden
I think morning times are great to see the flowers bloom.
I'm not sure I only stopped there to get my wife some roses
I would try in October that seems to be the best time
Yes you can
Theres been a nice consistency with all the rain and butterflies about. It's free admission. Fall has not taken over just yet but you may want to before the cold front changes it.
Dogs aren't allowed inside the visitor's center, but we went into the visitors center without our dog when we did bring our dog over to Tyler, they said you can walk your dog inside the rose garden, but not in the visitor center.
If you are interested in planting purple roses, I suggest contacting one of the local rose nurseries.
We were there about March 1st and no roses yet, but lots of blooms on camilias, and the azaleas are beginning to bloom; should be great by next week. Daffodils all over and should be tulips now. Worth the trip for sure
Call and they will tell you.
