The park is open year round. If you mean the spraypark, I think they turn it off the end of September. I am sure if you look it up on the Dallas parks and recreation website, it should have the dates

Behind the school next to the soccer field. The GPS takes you to the front of the school. Go down the alley along the soccer field next to it & it takes you to the street behind the school. You should see the spray ground.
