If you’re trying to get fingerprints done, don’t bother. They don’t actually show up during the posted hours. Search “fingerprint services Houston” and you’ll find lots of options where you can actually make an appointment. Giving 2 stars because the receptionist was nice.

This location does not do driver's license renewals. It is the regional headquarters for all of Metro Houston and Region 2 which includes East Texas up to Lufkin and down to Beaumont as well as down to Victoria and and up to Bryan/College Station. They don't have time to do driver's license renewals which you can do online! If you want to go to a local office look one up in the phone book or online and call them and make sure they do driver's license renewals before you drive there. It's easy and non frustrating.

For the people who were complaining of this location does NOT issue driver license! I believe the reasoning is because it’s recruiting Location.
Not at the Jersey Village Regional HQ...most district offices, yes! Call your local office to be sure.

No. You need to go to a Tax office. DPS does Driver License not registration, but this is not a Driver License office it is an administrative building. Dacome, Spring Mega Center, or Veterans Memorial Mega center would be closest for a Driver License.
