The big dog park is HUGE!! It has enough running room to turn this guy standing at attention into the "at ease" pooch you see in the other photo. He loves it and even with hardly any rain this year, there is still plenty of water available for the dogs. The grounds are pretty well-maintained and trashcans are cleaned out regularly. I usually go out here when it's dark and thus carry a flashlight. We see lots of frogs and we've encountered one opossum in 2 years but this summer, we get dive-bombed regularly by BATS feeding off insects that are drawn to the glow of the flashlight. I know they aren't likely any danger to me or the dog but it can be a little unsettling. FYI if visiting when it's dark

I accidentally took my big dog to the small dog area. It was very spacious and well maintained. Little it no animal waste inside the park. Watering system for the dog works well. There is a small kiddy pool. There is a walking trail inside the dog park that gave me something to do while my dogs played. All in all, one of the best dog parks I've seen. There is a lake across the trail from the dog park. It has a lot of nutria, so keep the leash tight while walking by if your dog is a hunter.

Great dog park! Has plenty of shade and benches and a small path you can walk around in. It's clean and everyone we encountered was friendly, will definitely come again 🐾
