We love Like Mike! The growth and skill our son has developed in such a short amount of time, amazing! We will be sticking around a while. Thanks to all the coaches!

I had high expectations when I signed up my son for summer basketball camp but I was soon disappointed. Communication was a problem from the start and it only got worse. The week before camp was to start I emailed Like Mike letting them know that my son was Covid positive and I asked to either have my son attend a week later and if that was not possible, to refund what I had paid. No response. The night before camp was to start I received an email with information about the next day's camp. I emailed them again but still no response. I did not want to infect the other children at the camp or the adults so I kept my son home. Later that week I received a call from Like Mike staff letting me know that there was an issue with the last day of camp and that the schedule would be different - they were so unorganized that they did not realize my son had not attended. When I explained to the lady that my son was not attending because he was recovering from Covid and that I had sent multiple emails to them about this, she told me she would look into it and call me back. She never did and I never received my refund. My son was looking forward to basketball camp and I am very disappointed at how Like Mike Basketball handled this. Since Like Mike never replied to my emails (or refunded my money), I had to find another basketball camp for my son to attend after he recovered from Covid (although it did require a roadtrip to attend a camp that appeared to be more professional, reputable and fit our travel schedule).

Let me start off by saying my husband and I were very happy to find this organization for our son. We were hopeful that he would develop and learn… as well as have fun. Boy were we wrong! If you are thinking about signing your kid up for this league, do yourself and your child a HUGE favor and don’t. The coaches here are very controlling, arrogant and belittling. They absolutely destroyed my son‘s confidence to the point where he didn’t want to play the game he loves anymore. They would tell him he wasn’t wanted on the team but then claimed it it was “motivation”, mind you they only did this when he was alone, never in front of me or my husband. Cowards! They lack coaching skills, they don’t win ANY games and all they do is yell at the players… but they are quick to charge your card every month. There are several other REAL AAU basketball teams in the area that actually know what they are doing. So glad we left!

Like Mike has done a phenomenal job developing my son over the past 18 months. He has become a student of the game, developed mental toughness, has improved his physical conditioning, and dramatically improved his basketball skills. They are great people with a very good development process. I look forward to watching his development over the next 18 months.
