RN, Julie Andries was just unnecessarily rude and unprofessional during my recent visit. 10/13/2022 around 10:00 PM, I took my 3 month old to the ER at M.H. Greater Heights, due to congestion and fever. After registration, Julie took my baby's vitals. I'm mentioning to her things I've noticed about my baby while she's been sick and she gave me no eye contact or feedback as if she was not listening or interested. I'm a mother of 3, and my other 2 children were never sick as infants, so I had a couple of questions. As I'm asking her questions, she's actually talking over me as if I'm saying nothing. And I told her "You do understand I'm trying to ask you a question". Completely ignoring my questions, she then attempted to give my baby Tylenol. I asked her are there alternatives before I agree to it, just wanting to know my options as a parent. She said to me "I'm not answering that". She continued to be rude, talking over me and just not being professional. I did allow the Tylenol for my baby's fever. I was treated unfairly by RN, Julie Andries. She did not reassure me. She displayed no emotional support or compassion as a medical professional. Instead, she was cold. She showed no interest in my concerns and unwillingly gave me advice. I mentioned Julie's behavior to her charge nurse, Laney, who stated "All I'm able to do is notify my supervisor". No apology given. Laney, who took a liking to my baby was pleasant, but she did not hold Julie accountable for her actions. It was as if it was not a big deal. Julie treated me less than a person. She was very comfortable being unprofessional and rude, as if she didn't fear consequences for her actions. Imagine going through that, when you're seeking help for your 3 month old. I ended up being transferred to M.H. Katy for pediatrics due to my baby's condition and had a much better experience!

Yes. It's a good hospital
Ake doctor or offices is talking because some doctors have moved to the floor or building Tell me which clinics I was going to go to or the doctor
I've had both of my children there. They are amazing, the nurses are very caring and helpful.
They do have free parking, it's limited though and it fills up fast. It's located on 27th street. Usually it's full but keep going after passing the hospital follow the street to the end of the road then make a right which will bring you to the back of the hospital then make a left that will bring you to the back of the nursing home, don't park there though. Keep going straight and once you pass the nursing home you'll see additional free parking in back of another Doctors building, park there and you can walk the short distance to the hospital.
Yes they're open but they're horrible.
I don't have any idea. I just dropped off someone for work
You go to the place that gave you the shot they can make you a copy from their records
Only if you have a code. The patient is given a code to ask about their stay or health. If the patient doesn't give you the code the hospital give them you will not be able ro fi d out anything.
Call the hospital, ask for E.R., and tell them what you printed above. That should work.
Memorial Hermann recognizes the importance of family support in the healing process and effective Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, the health system will begin allowing one adult (18 and over) visitor, per patient per day. All visitors will be required to clear a health screening and will be provided a mask to wear upon entry and throughout their entire visit. This new policy applies to our hospitals, as well as TIRR Memorial Hermann and Katy Rehab.
They screen at all entries before patients and staff are allowed into the facility. You fill out a questionnaire, they check your temperature , you sanitize your hands, get a wrist band & face mask.
I do not know. And I didn't go to the cafeteria either.
Don't worry to let who is your nurse know your concerns, it's not necessary about your insurance it's about your health care
You must submit your application online at www.memorialhermann.org I wish you the best!
if you need to go to the hospital you will need to get someone to take you and come back and pick you up when they discharge you
It varies depending on the unit the person you're visiting is in, and their privacy request. Best way to find out is to call, locate them if possible, and ask the staff when's the best time to visit.
They say there are ghosts I would like to see them, need help cleaning the house?
$12 all day
You have to contact them directly with a phone call. This forum is for reviews / comments by local guides who are in no way affiliated with the hospital. Hope this helps and prayers for a safe recovery.
