You can keep the fish there is no extra charge to fish but a fishing license is needed for anyone 16 and older the size limit is the same as the texas game laws you will mostly catch catfish sometimes bass and in the winter rainbow trout

We dont have crocodiles in Texas, but there is the very rare alligator I have seen. There is a bayou that runs far behind the park where gators are more common. There is no high grass for them to hide so they'll be extremely visible long before they are any threat to anyone.

The lake in Community Park is stocked with catfish for the enjoyment of fishermen of all ages. Please note a fishing license is not required for youth under the age of 17. Visitors ages 17 and over must have a valid State of Texas Fishing License. Well since it's connected to another outlet it is unknown... But I have seen different fish in there

At least every other month during the spring and summer it's stocked with channel catfish, and during the during the fall and winter it's stocked with rainbow trout.
