Ellen at Green Lake Jewelry was wonderful to work with. After getting engaged, my fiancé and I worked with Ellen to create the engagement ring of my dreams. I started this process thinking that I would be such an easy customer and boy was I wrong, I quickly learned that the custom ring design process would be met with my extreme indecisiveness. Ellen was so patient and really a dream to work with. She happily sent me image after image of design options and responded to countless questions I had. In the end, Ellen ended up custom ordering a piece from another supplier in order to get exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be happier with the final product and I am super thankful that Ellen was so patient and informative throughout such an exciting time in our lives.

We had an excellent experience working with Christine to design my engagement ring. She met us where we were (no idea what we wanted! knew nothing about jewelry!) and helped us refine our ideas until we had the perfect ring. Great communication throughout the process -- from design to actually creating the ring. It was easy to book appointments to discuss designs, view the in-progress ring, and pick up. Greeters and other GLJW folks we met when visiting were all pleasant and created a welcoming atmosphere.

My brother recommended this company after he worked with them for his wife’s engagement and wedding band. He raved about them, commenting on their quality and timely responses. So I went to this company for both the engagement ring and wedding band, and they did not disappoint! My main goal when I was searching for a ring was uniqueness and quality, without breaking the bank (was already saving for the wedding). I was not a fan of going to the larger chains, like Jared’s or Kay’s. The designer with Green Lake Jewelry Works helped me create a one of a kind ring and band, providing suggestions and feedback in a fast, efficient manner. They provided a realistic time line and photos of the ring from design, to casting and finally the finished product. In the end, my fiancé got a unique engagement ring, unique wedding bad, and a beautiful wedding venue; all without going into massive debt. Love them, and would give a higher rating if I could!

It was an amazing journey working with Grean Lake Jewelry Works custom design team. Every step of the way was collaborative, on both sides, and very productive. My designer was very receptive to both giving and receiving desired design and the team executed on it perfectly. I enjoyed the experience so much, I already have 2 more projects underway with them. My only word of advice, platinum is expensive. However the team at Green Lake Jewelry Works rock.
