My mom's hand was swollen and her ring was stuck on. Her finger was hurting and turning purple. Tacoma Custom Jewelers had the tool to quickly and safely cut off the ring and saved the day. To top it off, the ring can be repaired. Thank you!

Tacoma Custom Jewelers is one of my favorite local establishments. They’re the only place I’ll bring my jewelry to. Called to see if Tacoma Custom Jewelers knew who in our area values jewelry. Dan responded to my inquiry timely, provided their location, hours, and availability. I subsequently brought in some nine or 10 pieces -- inherited items I suspected were costume but wanted a pro to weigh in on before I disposed of them. Heather looked the items over in the course of 10 or 15 minutes, carefully examining each piece and stating her findings . She did not charge for her time and expertise. I am a small business owner for whom customer service is first and foremost. Dan and Heather are obviously on the same page. I can (and will) wholeheartedly recommend Tacoma Custom Jewelers.

I can not stop looking at my finger. Seriously. My mother died recently and she had a few nice rings that I wanted reset. Dan and Heather listened to what I had in mind and made it work. They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The finished product is perhaps the nicest piece I own. It is a lovely memorial for my mother, absolutely beautiful and even best, affordable. I could not be more satisfied as a client, daughter and consumer. Thank you so very much. Now, back to staring at my ring!

I have an old ring, don't know If It's silver but would like to put a small 5 letter logo (?)
If it's rhodium, on average for a ring, it's $75
We adhere to the state required mandates, and request that customers wear masks while in the store. Blue marking tape identifies adequate distancing and high surface areas are disinfected frequently with 80% isopropyl alcohol.
It would depend on the type of metal and what the melting point of it is. If you'd like to stop by, we can discuss this further and work on getting an estimate for you.
Unfortunately, I have not heard of that company and when I did a search online, they did not come up. However, we are able to help with any of your jewelry needs.
It depends if they have the right size and type of pins. If they have them, $10 per pin. If they have to go to the bench jeweler, they get an estimate.
I apologize for the delayed response as I try to answer these questions as fast as I notice them. Unfortunately, pewter has a melting point lower than the metals that we work with, and as master Jewelers, we would be unable to repair anything made out of pewter. Tacoma Metal Arts or Fab Lab in downtown Tacoma might be able to help. Thanks for your inquiry.
