The course was built on top of a trash-filled landfill with a 2-foot thick clay cap. Trees or water features would compromise the cap so there are none. The Trinity Forest surrounds the course.
Why would anyone wear high heels on a golf course?
My family has lived near this area for nearly 50 years and I hate the stereotypes that have been given to this area of Dallas. What you think happens rarely happens. God bless your hearts.
According to Dave Lieber, consumer watchdog for the Dallas Morning News, the city's bill in 2018 was $10.7 million of the $12 million it planned to put into the project. That pays for road improvements, water and waste lines, traffic signals, street lighting, and the capping of the landfill. It leases the property to the golf consortium for $10,000 a year on a 40-year lease.
@Doug Berry I have yet to hear any type of felonious crime happening at this facility. I would assume the 'heavy' presence of security is to make all the snowflakes and elites feel at ease. I hope they could do the same in certain yt areas where I can feel comfortable walking around without feeling less than.
Only if you can afford $180,000 for membership, $1,200 monthly dues, and get 5 current members to endorse you
Sleepy Hollow was the best kept secret for golfers in Dallas...$10 ALL day for play...We can thanked Mayor no more “Raw” Dealings for taking away this secret AND the best and biggest annual Friday afternoon cocktail party in DFW at THE Byron Nelson hosted at the Four Seasons!!!
That's a very good question. I don't see the average person living in the 'hood' ponying up $185K to join.
No

There are no bodies of water on the course so there shouldn't be many mosquitoes. As far as fire ants go, i would assume the greenskeepers will be maintaining the grounds and treat for them. I would not be concerned there either.
