Blanket warmers are genius! Checkin online made actual checkin only 5 min. I had a very simple procedure done in Imaging by a very thoughtful team. I don't remember their positions; Taylor was a very positive and friendly guide start to finish. She made sure I was comfortable and understood what was happening and allowed my mom to sit with me as soon as the actual process was over. The doctor was happy to explain everything going on, even tried to show me the monitor. Kaia, the lab phlebotomy quickly drew blood taking an extra in case of further test result asks. And Linda was thoughtful enough to make sure I understood the importance of the post care instructions. There was one other person, I'm sorry I forgot her name, but she was friendly while she performed her work.

I’m writing this review about getting pre-admitted for inpatient (painful) surgery and discharge experience after surgery (Colby Campus). I had similar experience twice! They get 2 stars for the good nurses at PACU. I was supposed to receive a call 24 hours before my surgery to get informed of check-in time. It never happened. I had to call providence several times and got to a voice mail. Someone finally called back as if they were doing me favor. Recovery room and discharge process: I had two nurses. One was an angel and the other one was not so nice and was very pushy. She kept rushing me to get discharged. The discharge notes both times lacked enough and proper information. In fact the most recent one had incorrect information about my current medications (wrong medications and wrong doses from 7 years ago)! What’s worse is it didn’t have any instructions as to when and how to remove the dressing that was placed on my wounds after the surgery. I need to mention the discharge notes have improved between the two surgeries I had in the last 6 months. My first surgery had less than one page of useful discharge notes for an inpatient surgery which needed serious after care. However, it had 20 pages of useless information about current medications and future appointments. The discharge notes were closer to the end of the document! I have accompanied family members at UW Hospital and the level of information given to patients and care givers is absolutely not comparable to Providence. We never felt rushed out of the recovery stage. They were very well organized. At other hospitals, nurses slowly and clearly go over discharge instructions so that patient understands them. This is important for inpatient surgeries because patient is under influence of anesthesia and other pain medications. At Providence, it seemed they wanted to get rid of the patient immediately. A little compassion towards patients would be nice to reflect the value of all of those crosses they have on their walls!

I was not the nicest of patients because I was in the for almost two weeks, BUT I can tell everyone is very nice. ALL the staff were exceptional. Nurses, doctors, cleaning people and even the ones who deliver food are wonderful!! I was treated very kindly. I had surgery and even the surgery staff were super exceptional and even though my sister doesn’t like this hospital, I would recommend them to anyone. Super nice people who answer your questions. One NA I had helped me in and out of the shower and while I was embarrassed, it was his job so he had no issue and he treated me kindly as well. He could tell that I was embarrassed and was having a hard time being helped by a man. I wish I could remember all of their names because I’d certainly name them all!! One nurse, because my long hair had not been brushed or combed in two weeks, brought me a wonderful conditioner that actually worked and I was able to comb out all of my knots. I could tell that it was expensive. This shows how all the people go above and beyond their jobs and are extremely kind. This is a great hospital and all the staff from the top to the bottom are excellent. Cheers and a huge THANK YOU to ALL of the employees at Providence Hospital in Everett!!! You ALL are EXCEPTIONAL!!!

I spent 10 days here and 4 days, 2 monthes previous. I have never felt better cared for in all my life. I have heart issues and they made me feel calm and not panicked as other physicians have in the past. They allowed me to be human and have dignity. They care as much about my mental health as my physical well being. The day to day care was amazing. The nursing staff and aids were so kind, caring and I dare say, loving. I felt well cared for and was sad and happy to leave...lol.

Call the hospital main line, give name and ask for Rm# then ask if you can be transfered to The Rm then ask for the nurse for the patient if immediate family they will talk to you and give you most everything you need to know and if patient is able to pick up the phone to talk ask to speak with them Brighten the day for them 😊
Enter through ER and security will direct you from there.
Drop it off at the main lobby with patients name and room number, or call the nurses station at the floor and tell someone it's there, so they can get it or meet you! Or both!! God Bless!
If coming from main hospital its the( turnaround up) from the ER entrance. The exit doors by the Starbucks that is the hospital. I hope that this is helpful. -------------- Across the street in the other building linked with the skywalk to hospital they have a drop off and pickup area right before the garage entrance.
1st floor, past the coffee stand there is a check in station.
Don't go night time, unless it very serious emergency, go. They really don't help me at all. In later, my doctors found out I have many health issues which don't need go er.
What kind of dental service?
Broadway exit is 192. Keep going straight to 14th and youre there. (Its on left)
Why would i have that you should go somewhere else this place is bad for your health you should try the UW campus
Depends on urgency of intake and priorities of the care patients need. I.e. how emergent? :-)
10 floors, many wings. Expanding to 70 new beds as safely and quickly as they can.
Through the Providence job website and maybe directly with HR. I think they also post positions with Everett Worksource.
