It said they weren't open but to our delight they were! We're late breakfast eaters, closer to noon than morning hours. Sometimes finding a breakfast spot is hard so when we do, we rejoice! Harris Ave is the perfect spot! We were greeted right away by a super friendly gal that seemed genuinely happy to see us, as she was with every customer! She was quick with our drinks, orders, refills and special requests. The food was hot and absolutely delicious! The BBQ sauce they use is spicy and packed with flavor, added to the chew of the ham and the sweetness of the tomatoes, the Chubby Checker hit the spot! Grab a side of bacon too, you won't be sorry! I highly recommend Harris Ave Cafe and we'll surely return when we're in the area!

Great food, amazing staff. We came mid brunch time and it was super busy. We had to wait about 20 to 30 mins for a 6 top, but we're able to get coffee in the cafe that is attached to the restaurant. When we were sat, we all ordered different plates and each of us loved what we ordered. The chef even came out to say hi at the end. We felt very welcome despite the busy day.

The coffees & the food are excellent! Our ONE SUGGESTION would be that the young lady serving, wearing the “Kulshan” hoodie, wash the hoodie as it’s very dirty, and she try to get some of the dog/cat hair off her cloths. Not great attire for an eating establishment. Other than that our experience was just right.

Really good ambiance and service was great. Wonderful coffee (drip was killer) but the food was eh. Potatoes were dry and some underdone, I got about two spoonfuls of sausage, too much cheese on the scramble. Syrup for pancakes was also not very good. I’ll come back but I don’t think I’ll order food…

Hi Jay! Harris Avenue Cafe does not take reservations. We often have a wait after 9am on weekends but outside of that, we can usually get you seated right away. There is an adjoining coffee shop for espresso while you wait. Cheers!
There is often a wait, and especially this weekend with ski to sea you're going to probably have a longer than normal wait, but the attached coffee shop is a good place to sit and have a cuppa while you're waiting
