I had a great experience shopping at Michael's In Bellingham for supplies for my daughter's upcoming birthday. Gil was a huge help and spent around 20 minutes talking with me about my options for making unicorn horns for the unicorn sundaes I was planning. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He even gave me a $10 gift card as a thanks for shopping at Michael's. Great experience, thanks Gil!!

A decent general supply of items but definitely lacking when it comes to the variety of a sub category to choose from. Examples: I really wanted to try gouache paints but there was only one option to buy. When I started lino cut block printing they had generally what I needed to start but not a lot of options for size and grade of linoleum.

Michael's is back open. The store has been rearranged differently. It makes sense the direction and flow works well but, it will take some getting used to. I believe they put the most popular section to the back of the store so customers have to walk and look at the other products to possibly purchase.

They just have everything you could ever need for your home. If they don't then they have different products to make it. I just moved and I was in a hotel before so I didn't have any decor and I love framed art. Frames are so way out of line. 11x16 can go for 80$. I can't do that not even 1/4 of that. Clearance is a great place to start. Frames usually have little chips or smudge marks for 90.to 99 % off. Take them home and touch them up. I totaled up the original price compared to what I really spent. I paid 132.00 and original was 459.87. I bought more frames then what was pictured. Though you get the point. All the art work I did myself.

From a Herald article: The store is aiming for a Friday, Jan. 28 soft reopening, said Adam Krell, manager of consumer communications for the company.
Yes, they’re working on fixing the damages.
Fire in the trash compactor, smoke damage in the store.
Masks are mandatory, I think the limit is 100 (not positive on exact number).. they have a cart with sanitizer when you walk in, arrows on the floors, to try to have one way traffic through the aisles
Hey Leona! They unfortunately do not, but they have in store shopping and follow Covid-19 safety protocols.
No
