We'veived in the area for 3 years and my family and I came here to do a guided tour for the first time and we loved it. We've learned so much about the spawning season of the salmon. Also our guide was knowledgeable and super friendly. The place looks like it was well taken care of too. I recommend this place.

Always great to see the salmon return. I love staking in the bridge and watching the salmon prepare spawning nests. The hatchery is very accessable and the displays are informative.

Nice place but we were getting so hungry for salmon and there is not tasting room there like there would be in a winery. Oh well. We did find a sushi place close by and had some good sashimi. 😁😁😁

What can I say. This is a mainstay of Issaquah character, and moreover, it is simply a wonderful intersection of nature and city. There is a small parking lot in front, informational boards everywhere, and a bridge where you can look down at the salmon. It's not usually too crowded, save salmon days of course, and a perfect place to take kids!

Is just to see..No fishing allowed. .. the Hatchery is a living science experience for kids so they can understand the life cycle of the salmon.
