We attended a Saturday afternoon child's birthday party held in the public playground area and one of the pavilions. The playground area had lots of equipment that looked clean and well maintained. The public restrooms were well kept, but a bit of a walk from the pavilion. There was a reasonable amount of parking with plenty of handicapped parking spaces. I don't know if the child's parents had to pay any fees to reserve and use the pavilion.

This is a Forest Preserve. If you r looking to rent the pavilion, call the Lindenhurst park district. You will have to look up the #.
It might be in spots but it is paved and seems to have good drainage. My guess is that it is not
Last year they did. Only the paved trails. They didn't salt them so sometimes there was ice to deal with but overall they did a good job. I haven't been there since last weekends snow but I'm assuming they plowed the trail.
