If I can give this place zero stars I would. The black lady upfront has no idea what she is doing. She does not tell you what you need doesn’t verify anything has no idea what’s going on why she’s even working there. This place is the worst post office to go to never go.

The mailman hit my mail box today. He was in the middle of picking up the brick work that was just laid in July, when I walked out. Accidents happen. However, I attempted to call the Lake Villa post office and no one picked up. So I drove to the post office. No issues w their phone they simply just weren’t answering. When I advised a supervisor of the damage w pictures in hand she didn’t apologize or extend any empathy or concern. She literally said nothing but who I needed to contact. She informed me the postmaster would give me a call, likely not today she’s on route and has “comms” when she gets back. I had to ask for her name and that was it. Why are post offices so uncomfortable, so uninviting when you visit? The employees. Terrible service if that’s what you even want to call it. Let’s see if they take responsibility and pay for the damages. ***update the postmaster called after this review and was very empathetic and understanding.

They working lazy guys because I waiting all day for my package and the guy leave the note in the mailbox sorry we miss you how they miss you if I’m waiting in the home like all day for package and leave the note pick up the package tomorrow I need to respond with the manager
