Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful, especially the front desk rep Joseph, was very helpful! The hotel is well maintained. Only down side was not having a microwave in our room and also the false advertisement of “parking onsite” but having to pay $14 a day and that’s not even with Valet parking. But other than that I enjoyed the view of the sunset from our corner room.

Rip off alert!!! They charge $14 a night to park in their Non-valet, no parking garage, unsecure, SELF PARK LOT. what a joke! What service am I receiving for $14? Oh wait, NOTHING. This is a poor excuse for a money making scheme. At least make me feel like I am actually receiving something. Also, The mattress is comfortable, but the sheets are not soft and are hot. While they have tried to make the place nice, they are lacking in so many areas. I guess put that $14/night per car parking fee to good use and upgrade the sheets. After reading other reviews, it seems like they arbitrarily change the amount they charge for parking. Ranges from $10 to $15. Not sure what is up with that other than it is a bogus charge. Also, pretty sure our room was haunted. At 3am the speaker phone just turned on and we heard a loud dial tone and then it went off.

Staff was nice but overall this hotel is poorly run. Rooms weren’t ready at 3:00 check-in because they were still being cleaned. Many of the rooms wreaked of cigarette smoke, AC inside the rooms was broken all weekend and elevator wait times were way too long. The AC worked in common areas of the hotel and aside from cigarette smell in many of the rooms the rest of the hotel appeared well maintained and fairly clean. While I won’t be returning to this hotel, most of these issues can be easily fixed so hopefully hotel management will step up to ensure future guests have a much better experience than we did.

Not really a 4-star hotel. More like a 3-star hotel with a pretty lobby/bar area. Parking should have been covered or valeted for $14/day, but is just a self-park lot around the building. Firm mattress and weak air conditioning. In-room TV was large but didn't work very well. The TV guide didn't function and all the channels were labeled incorrectly. It also had a hard time turning off. Some noise from the DART train. Toilet paper was thinner than my dreams of being a pro athlete. Elevators are pretty run down too. Good deal for the $60 per night special rate we found, but mediocre for the $74 w/parking + tax and fees. Good location for our trip that had drives to Plano, Dallas and Addison, but probably wouldn't book again. Most staff and guests didn't wear masks.
