My girlfriend and I moved in July, and were forced to move out only two months later. Although there were some aspects of living here that we enjoyed, all of that was ruined by their severe tenant smoking problem. Both our upstairs and downstairs neighbors were chain-smoking on their decks 24/7, meaning we couldn't ever open a window or the deck door (and couldn't run our portable AC, making the hottest months of Summer miserable). The windows weren't sealed well and the smoke would still get in anyways. Not an 'annoyance' amount; enough to make a non-smokers lungs feel like they're burning after a short time. We spoke with multiple neighbors who told us they had experienced the same issue. The office staff was completely unable/unwilling to enforce their own no smoking policy even after countless times pleading for them to do something effective. When we told them we had to move out early for health concerns over breathing second hand smoke, they told us we could either find someone else to sublease the unlivable unit to, or be forced to pay a 2-month's rent lease break fee. I had to pay a lawyer service to make them understand why I would absolutely not be paying this. Outrageous, honestly.

Eh..I was considering living here. Drove there for a tour and boy was I unimpressed by the leasing service. Grounds and amenities seem nice, although after reading further reviews I can see why this place gets bad ratings because of their management and leasing team. I walked in, asked for a tour and just endured an awkward conversation with someone who didn't really know what they were doing. And he never even emailed me the virtual tour of the place I was looking into or at least something similar to it. I had high hopes, but whatever, first impressions really matter to me and I don't want to give my money to a place that doesn't seem interested in new tenants.

I've been very happy living here at Campbell Run. My recent experiences with the management team made me want to jump on here and leave a five star review. I appreciate the level of communication and the community atmosphere they foster. I love my apartment. The views from my balcony and windows are unrivaled. The grounds are wooded and grassy. Nothing beats having our own dog park. The neighbors are very friendly. There is so much within walking distance. And the office team are great to work with.
