Sean Peters | Nov 4, 2020

Am I at fault because I fell?

MP Siddle | Nov 4, 2020
Carpey Law | Nov 4, 2020

A property owner is not always responsible for someone falling. The injured party also has an obligation to use due care and look where they are going. This is called “comparative negligence.”

How much is a slip and fall case worth? - There is no specific amount as each case is unique. Compensation depends on several factors:

Esther J. Estrada | Nov 4, 2020
Carpey Law | Nov 4, 2020

1. Severity and extent of the injuries 2. Impact from pain and suffering related to the injuries upon the victim’s life 3. The amount of medical bills to treat the injuries and the amount it will most likely cost for future medical treatments, and other economic harm effecting the victim.
