There are 3 new homes on our street, Rosemary and they keep forgetting to pick up our trash. Last week they didn't pick up on Wednesday or Saturday but our recycling was picked up. We are paying for the service and now we are requesting credit for the days and weeks with no pickup. It is now Monday and our trash bins are overflowing!! Now, once again no trash pickup on Saturday, 10/29/22. And also they looked in my bin but didn't empty it on Wednesday, 10/26/22. Apparently it wasn't filled enough for them to empty. What is there contact number?

Thats a great question! A lot of the details of how electricity started in Greenville is available on our website in our history. GEUS was started in 1891 by citizens and it is still operated that way today. The City of Greenville ran operations until 1988 when GEUS established an autonomous board voted for by the citizen of Greenville. We are a Public Power Utility, the oldest in Texas and one of more than 2000 in the US. We have local offices, with employees who live and are part of the community. We have local board members who are citizens of Greenville. Every decision we make is a direct impact on the community we live in and serve. We strive to provide reliable world class service at the best rates possible all while giving back to our community. Check out our website about us page to learn more!
I would estimate about, $2000, cause you will have to pay a deposit plus your first month rent, lights to have them turned on, gas
The City of Greenville issues Certificates of Occupancy please contact them to find out what could be the delay.
We may need clarification from Waste Connections on this depending on what you have specifically. The contract between the City of Greenville and Waste Connection states that bags must be in the toter for collection. However, the first collection day of the week is your bulk pickup day. They may not pickup extra bagged garbage on bulk day as it may not be considered bulk and instead just additional trash that you may need an additional toter for. Please contact GEUS Customer Service for more details and direction if needed.
Visit our website www.GEUS.org, there you will find a link to report outages.
Boil water notices are issued by the City of Greenville, Tx. Please contact their offices or following their social media pages for up to date information.
It depends on your cycle you will have to call and find out
Deposits are based on credit scores or past usage. You can find detailed information bout this on our website and application.
Bulk items are collected on the first collection day of the week. Call Waste Connections to let them know you have a bulk item to be collected.
Wireless Routers or wifi boxes are owned by the customer. Modems are owned by GEUS. Usually both of these items are small black boxes.
Yes a City of Greenville Water Distribution employee or a GEUS meter reader will be responsible for turning water on and off. Water meters are property of the City of Greenville, only City employees are allowed to turn water off and on at the meter. Those other than City employees, are at risk for meter tampering if they alter the meter or its function.

Prepaid Electric does not cut off after 4:30pm on Friday. If you over use, it will disconnect at 7:30am Monday morning. There are 5 revalue locations in Greenville including our offices. When you revalue any negative balance is paid first prior to reconnecting services.
Of course! Simply come to our Customer Service Center at 2810 Wesley Street. Please do not drop cash in our night drop box as there is no way to track it.
