I've been waiting and waiting to get my marriage license updated. I have sent in the correct form to change the spelling of my husbands name. They fixed his middle name, but not his first name. It was crystal clear on the document but for some reason they cannot get his first name spelled correctly. I was having good correspond with a gal named Giny but she fell off the earth and refuses to correspond with me now. All i want is my husband's name spelled correctly on our marriage license.

If I could give this place NO stars I WOULD. They’ve got all these guarantees that there’s a support team available 24/7 and no one has replied to any of my MANY emails about the status of my daughters birth certificate! I placed my order almost a WEEK AGO!!! STAY TF AWAY FROM THIS MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY!!!

Terrible service. When you call they tell you “Vital Records” is not affiliated with WA state but their voicemail and numbers are both in WA state. Do not pay the $50 fee to get an application that can be obtained online for free. I get every job has its bad days but if you hate your job and treat people the way they do over the phone, please do everyone a favor and find another job that will make you happy.

Typical incompetent government service. We're lucky if anything ever gets done here. We sent in our birth certificate request 3 months ago, and they never sent anything. We can't get them on the phone, they don't reply to email, they lose anything you send them, and you can't do it online (not for filing acknowledgement of parentage forms). I wish I could say I'm surprised .... I'm not.

Official Washington State Birth Certificates are $25.00 as of July 8, 2022. In person requests ARE available at your COUNTY health departments state wide. The only in person services at the STATE Vital Records office are by appointment only. They are limited exclusively to corrections at this time and provided with strict Covid screening protocols requiring mask, tempreature and screening questions before you can check in with security. Provided you are named as father on his birth certificate, you need only bring ID for you in order to obtain your son"s certified birth record. He need not be present. I hope this information is helpful. I am glad to know overcomming many obstacles recently leads to smoothing the way for others!
You would have to contact the parents. Birth certificates are closed records, so the Vital Records office will only give info to the people listed on the certificate.
You can look up information on getting a Washington state birth certificate at www.doh.wa.gov.
I would call and ask.
It says on the birth certificate.
Yes, $20 last I checked (about a year ago). You can find more detailed & current information on the website.
Where was Raymond born and what year?
