This post is for truckers delivering to Averitt in Grand Prairie. The lady at the guard shack gave us a dock but did not tell us where the check in was The docks are see through, so I assumed a dockworker would come to get the paperwork. They started unloading me without bill in hand. I walked up to the dock to hand the paper to the dockworker and the dockworker directed me to the shipping office. Without that info, I might have unnecessarily waited for someone to sign my paperwork. I am telling you this so that you don't have the same problem. Simple communication from the guard shack is helpful. If you run across a place that does not give clear instructions, please share what you have learned to make it easier for fellow truckers.
